Water Treatment to Colombo, Sri Lanka

Pilum delivers lamella sedimentation equipment to a water treatment plant at Kelani River Bank, in the outskirts of Colombo, on the west coast of Sri Lanka.

The capacity of the WTP is approximately 180 000 m³/day (48 MGD US). The project is a part of the goal to improve the quality of the potable water for the local population and the tourist industry that has showed great improvments after the civil war has ended.
